Future... примеры эссе
What the world would be like in 100 years?
Our world changes day after day. We observe enormous alterations in technology, medicine and it’s very difficult not to notice them.
Recently, I have been preparing for my English lesson and looking for the news in the Internet. Suddenly, the article concerning the plane of the future comes into my view. This article has it that the plane can move faster than the speed of sound. It will have floor-to-ceiling windows and sunroofs, luxurious lounge area with leather sofas and even a queen-size bed and ensuite with walk-in shower. Then I ask myself: “What the world would be like in 100 years?”.
To be honest, I have a lot of idea what might happen. The thought, comes to my mind first, is that all work will be fulfill with a help of techniques, but not by people. One more idea is that telepathic communication will prevail. You just sit somewhere and you started to think about person and he immediately receives your message. To add, there will be electric cars which won’t use petrol and won’t pollute the air. As for the medicine, the incurable disease will be curable. I even read about this long time ago and I truly believe it comes true. But my brightest idea is that there won’t be wars in the world because people learn to solve the conflicts.
In conclusion, I want to say that the time is changeable and it will always be new dreams and new possibilities that make people think another way.

Things I wish people would invent
Today, the pace of technological development is quickening. It can be compared with a spaceship that covers huge distances of the Universe in a millisecond. Scientific communities of different countries regularly raise burning questions at academic conferences to focus the world’s attention on the global problems. They create technical means to change the life of millions of people for the better. Several decades ago, the creation of life in a test tube or growth of organs from stem cells in a laboratory seemed unbelievable. However, a man of the 21st century isn’t surprised by such achievements of science. Recently, I’ve been thinking about inventions that could astonish the young people of today and make human life easier.
To put on several kilos after vacation is a commonplace. Usually, one has to acquire new outfits of bigger size, although the clothes of good quality have been bought not so long ago. A way out of this unpleasant situation is to create an extremely stretchy fabric that saves its form. The same jeans, T-shirts, dresses would suit both a slim woman and an over-weight person.
I wish some scientist would invent a device that implies functions of a GPS-navigator and locates lost things. Often, some people can’t find car keys, spectacles or a remote controller in their apartment. Other leave a bag with a passport or a purse full of cash on the street. It is possible to get rid of extra worries with such a device.
Have you ever forgotten the date of your friend’s birthday? Do you still remember a detailed plot of all books you’ve read? No doubt, the majority replied in the negative. Nevertheless, the creation of long-term memories can be achieved by implanting a computer chip into the brain. Then, one could cherish sweet moments forever.
I wish a youth pill would exist to stop aging process. Having taken this medicine in youth, the person remains healthy, young and beautiful for the rest of life.
There’s no need to book a ticket, go through the customs and spend many hours in an uncomfortable seat. These facts about traveling seem to be a joke. However, they can come true with the invention of a teleportation machine. Having pressed the button on the control panel, one reaches the destination in the blink of an eye.
Good luck to all the scientists who are working at their development projects! I hope my descendants and me would make use of these inventions in the nearest future.
